Unleaded Symposium
Agenda
The 2026 Unleaded: Our Homes. Our Children. Our Future Symposium will be a two-day community gathering focused on lead exposure, environmental health, housing safety, and the urgent need for healthier homes across Toledo-area neighborhoods.
The symposium will bring together residents, daycare providers, public health professionals, housing advocates, educators, contractors, policymakers, and community leaders to explore practical solutions, prevention strategies, and community-driven action around lead-safe housing, childhood lead poisoning prevention, environmental justice, tenant education, and healthy homes.
Together, participants will examine the impact of lead hazards in paint, soil, water, and the broader environment while discussing ways to protect children, support families, strengthen housing stability, and build safer, healthier communities for future generations.
